Nobody gets hurt building a network

Our people work at height, beside live power, on roadsides and inside trenches. Every one of those is a way to get seriously injured, and none of them is worth a saved hour. Safety is not a policy document we produced to win tenders — it is the reason our crews go home in the same condition they arrived in.

What we commit to on every site

• Trained and certified climbers. Nobody goes up a tower for us without tower-climbing and rescue training. No exceptions, however urgent the site.
• Full PPE, always. Helmets, full-body harnesses with double lanyards, anti-slip footwear, gloves and high-visibility clothing — issued, inspected and replaced when worn.
• Fall protection at height. One hundred percent tie-off above two metres. A climber is anchored at every moment of the ascent, the work and the descent.
• Toolbox talk before work starts. Every crew, every site, every day: what we are doing, what can go wrong, and who stops the job if it does.
• Electrical isolation and lockout. Power is isolated and verified dead before work begins near it. We do not trust a switch that somebody else says is off.
• Equipment inspected before use. Harnesses, lanyards, lifting tackle and ladders are checked before every use and taken out of service the moment they fail a check.

Stop-work authority

Any member of any Zayno crew — the newest helper included — can stop a job they believe is unsafe, and will never be penalised for it. If a site is unsafe, we would rather explain a delay to a client than an injury to a family. That authority is real, and supervisors are held to it.

EMF and radiation safety

Work in and around live antennas carries radiation exposure risk. We follow DoT exposure norms, measure with calibrated instruments, and coordinate with operators to have sectors powered down or de-tilted before crews enter the near field. The same rigour we bring to EMF survey and certification for our clients, we apply to protecting our own engineers.

Road and transport safety

Our logistics work puts vehicles on highways and rural roads at all hours. Loads are secured and weight-distributed before a vehicle moves, drivers work within lawful hours, and no consignment is worth speeding for.

Incident reporting

Every incident and near-miss is recorded and reviewed — including the ones where nothing actually happened. Near-misses are free lessons, and a culture that hides them is a culture that is waiting for the real thing.

Environmental responsibility

As a green energy company, the environmental side is not decoration. We route vehicles efficiently, right-size loads rather than running half-empty trucks, dispose of packaging and cable waste responsibly, and leave sites clean. Building infrastructure should not mean leaving a mess behind for someone else.
